Jake Boyer is president of The Boyer Company, a position he assumed in June 2006. He has been instrumental in the development of The Gateway, a 2.1 million square foot mixed-use development, one of Utah’s largest mixed-use projects. Boyer also has extensive experience developing governmental, medical, office and retail projects.
Boyer served as chair of the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors. Then just 37 years old, he became the youngest chair in the history of the Chamber. As the 101st person to lead the Chamber Board of Governors, Boyer chaired the board 23 years after his father, Roger Boyer, who held the same position in 1986.
Boyer received his Master of Science in Real Estate Development at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University.
