Shawn Newell is the Vice President of Business Development for Industrial Supply. Shawn approaches his leadership role in Sales with the same competitive spirit that drove him to succeed in football at the University of Utah and with the Chicago Bears. Industrial Supply Company serves the construction, manufacturing, mining, government, and industrial community with maintenance and supplies.
While Industrial Supply has been a member of the Salt Lake Chamber for many years, Shawn felt the need to get more involved, as such he joined the President’s Ambassadors, participated in the Leadership Utah program and professional development training, and helped facilitate the Chamber’s Equality & Inclusion in Opportunity Roundtables. These connections increased his understanding of the other Chamber programs and mission. He believes in the power of engagement and knows that when companies can connect they will find value in the resources the Chamber has to offer.
