Smith’s Food & Drug Stores mission is to be there for customers when they need them most, with open stores and openhearted hospitality. They are taking proactive steps to protect the health and safety of their associates, customers, and communities, including adjusted store operating hours, enhanced cleaning procedures, physical distancing precautions, and expanded associate benefits.
As an active board member, Smith’s Food & Drug Stores is honored to work with the Chamber in finding ways to keep their associates, customers, and communities safe during the pandemic through the Stay Safe to Stay Open initiative, and have asked each store in Utah to take the pledge. Additionally, Smith’s donated $30,000 to the Chamber’s Utah Community Builders Foundation Hope Grant Program to assist a local community food pantry put affordable food on the table of those in need as no one should go hungry.
