Start the New Year off right and learn a few different ways to make the most out of your Chamber membership. Or if you’re not a member, what opportunities are available with membership!
Attend an Event
The Chamber is a gathering place. Every year we provide networking opportunities, seminars, workshops and more to bring the community together. The next two upcoming events are the 2017 Utah Economic Review & Policy Summit and Business After Hours hosted by Valley Fair Mall. Consider attending one of these or checking our calendar for other events that meet your interests.
Take a Training
The Chamber’s Business Essentials program is a series of seminars, round tables, panel discussions and training sessions designed to help businesses enhance their professional and personal skill sets. Trainings vary from marketing to HR to finance. Learn more!
Join a Policy Committee
The Chamber develops principles, policies and positions on major issues affecting Utah’s business community. Key to this effort is the work on policy related committees, subcommittee task forces and councils. They have three basic policy responsibilities:
- Identify current and emerging problems
- Advise and counsel on issues to recommend to the Salt Lake Chamber Executive Board
- Provide support on policy analysis and communications efforts
Most committees meet for an hour on a monthly or bi-monthly schedule. There are opportunities in specific areas from energy minerals to transportation. Find a committee today!
