Art lovers, collectors, spectators and creators alike will soon invade Downtown Salt Lake City for the 2016 Utah Arts Festival. Celebrating it’s 40th Anniversary, the Festival will be unlike any other and we are ecstatic for it to begin!
In the latest episode of Building Utah, we spoke with Susan Koles, marketing director for the Utah Arts Festival, about the in’s and out’s of the Festival, what attendees can expect, and what keeps people coming back. As well as, the economic impact of the Festival and the overall state of the Utah Arts Community.

Susan Koles has created marketing programs and directed promotional efforts for many non-profit organizations such as the Utah Arts Festival during her 35-year career. She’s a graduate of the University of Utah and is married to a fine and funny man with whom she has four children who lead interesting lives in Salt Lake City.
