Join Equality Utah for the largest LGBTQ fundraising event in Utah!
The stars have finally aligned. After two years away, the Equality Utah Allies Gala is returning to the Eccles Theater on August 27. The theme this year is “Gorgeous Planet.”
The Gala is notably the largest LGBTQ fundraising event in the state. All proceeds directly benefit the Equality Utah 501(c)(4), Utah’s largest LGBTQ political action & advocacy organization.
Headlining the event is the iconic transgender actor, comedian and political advocate Eddie Izzard. Eddie is also one of the most original and respected comedians of her generation, having picked up two Emmys in 1999.

The Gala’s dress code includes anything from DIY to High Couture. Guidelines state for attendees “Glide across the universe and our red carpet in a look befitting a starchild. Be inspired by quasars, supermoons and ultraviolet cosmic fractals. Whatever illuminates up your personal style.”
