The Hive
The HIVE has been on hold during the last couple of years but we are excited to be back with a new focus and opportunities for all of us to engage and make a difference. Below are a few details about the HIVE and our 2022 focus.
PARTICIPANTS: Emerging leader professionals, mid-career from the Salt Lake Chamber members who are interested in social impact issues.
FORMAT: The format will consist of quarterly meetings/discussions for 90 minutes with action items for each HIVE member.
FOCUS: We are partnering with Nic Dunn, our HIVE Co-Chair and Executive Director of Utah Community Builders. We will have a laser focus on social impact issues that include: workforce mental health, poverty and upward mobility, and child care and family-friendly policies. Your fresh perspective will help the business community make a significant impact on these issues. Together we will:
- Receive training and education on these issues from experts
- Understand the public policy connection
- Identify the impact on business and the workplace
- Brainstorm and discuss opportunities for HIVE members to make a difference in their own places of work and the community.
HIVE DATES:
- March 9, 2022
- May 4, 2022
- August 10, 2022
- October 12, 2022
