The Emerging Tech Policy Lab (EMTECH) is a state-funded research and consulting group created with the intention of leveraging students and faculty from Utah Valley University and Utah State University to serve Utahn industry. The EMTECH program is collecting data on Utahan businesses’ current level of cyber-preparedness via an anonymous survey. The data from this survey will be used to create a report on the state of Utah’s cybersecurity and compile free cyber resources and trainings which will be made available for businesses. Ideal targets for this survey would be business leaders and those within the IT/security sphere of influence of Utahn companies regardless of organization size.
