This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. CRS Engineers is a full-service civil engineering company with offices in Salt Lake City, Logan and Vernal. Matt Hirst, president and CEO of CRS Engineers, is here to tell us about how CRS’s work benefits Utahns.

MATT HIRST

Since our beginning in 1905, CRS Engineers has persevered through challenges, from market recessions to the recent COVID-19 outbreak. Because CRS was deemed an essential business, we were able to remain open during the recent shutdown. During this time, we worked with employees on a case-by-case basis, determining the best working option for each individual that preserved production while also maintaining the ability to fully serve our clients.

Our dedicated team of experts provides “answers to infrastructure” for both private and municipal agencies. Past projects include roadway designs such as Legacy Highway and the I-15 corridor, and site development projects. Examples of these projects include the FBI building in Salt Lake City and several subdivisions. We have helped form, improve, and preserve communities by preventing flooding and wildfires throughout the state. At CRS Engineers, we are passionate about our work and those we serve. Getting to know our clients and helping them be successful is our greatest satisfaction.
