This is Derek Miller Speaking on Business. C.R. England has one of the most reliable trucking fleets in the country. And during the coronavirus, it’s playing an heroic role in keeping the American supply chain moving. Its Chief Legal Officer, T.J. England is here to share details.
At C.R. England, we’re fortunate to be a part of the transportation supply chain. We have the opportunity and challenge to be on the front lines of keeping our country moving and supplied during this crisis. We are one of the largest movers of temperature-controlled freight in America, with customers like Walmart, Target, and Riteaid. These products are especially critical now. Road congestion is down and fuel prices are depressed, which certainly helps us safely and efficiently deliver products nationwide.
Our primary focus remains the safety of our employees, customers, and the motoring public. We’re pleased that our early and aggressive efforts regarding working from home, social distancing, and other safety measures have been successful in limiting transmission and infection among our 7000+ North American employees. And we will continue to work with our customers, the consumer, and other stakeholders to see America through this pandemic.
C.R. England is a great example of an essential business in Utah working to provide for the country during the COVID-19 crisis. More details are available at crengland.com. I’m Derek Miller, and this is Speaking on Business.
