This is Derek Miller Speaking on Business. Carrus delivers quality training programs to those hoping to improve lives, professionals looking to re-up their certifications and confidence, and institutions looking to improve the student-employee experience. Misty Frost, CEO of Carrus is here to tell us more about what they’re doing to ease the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on health care learners.

At Carrus we help people improve their lives and advance their careers through exceptional health care training. Our two training and continuing education solutions, CareerStep and CareerCert, are designed to meet the unique needs of future and current health care workers. Since 1992, Carrus has trained more than 140,000 health care professionals. So, we know a thing or two about what helps e-learning health care learners stay on course. Carrus has examined trends in e-learning dropout rates and performed market research so we could launch the AdvantageEDGE coaching program in 2020 to help raise student completion rates. As COVID-19 has ravaged our world, we have quickly responded. Our CareerStep division launch, much needed courses for health care workers like infection prevention. We also introduced several accelerated courses like contact tracing to help health care professionals meet urgent needs and help those out of work re-train and get back to work quickly.
