If the equipment cooling your business is making too much noise, is more than 10 years old, or in need of frequent repairs, it may be time to upgrade.
Continually repairing equipment is not only a hassle, but maintenance costs can add up quickly. And, since heating and cooling can account for up to 45 percent of energy charges, outdated and inefficient systems can become expensive to operate.
Technical expertise and cash incentives for high-efficiency cooling upgrades are available from Rocky Mountain Power’s wattsmart Business program. Incentives also are available for energy-efficient lighting, insulation, food service equipment, compressed air systems and more.

Congratulations to the 2018 Leadership Utah graduating class.
Leadership Utah is a year-long program that begins in September and continues through June. The schedule features ten monthly, day-long sessions. Each topic is examined in-depth by experts in that particular field.
Participants are given access to vast amounts of data, information, and resources, which are compiled in a well-organized, well-developed format. Much of the information acquired by participants is not available or accessible through other sources.
The Salt Lake Chamber has made a commitment to the quality of the area’s future. Leadership Utah was formed in 1984 and began its first training program in January 1985. The Chamber is dedicated to provide the necessary direction to establish, train and support a network of aware and knowledgeable citizens ready to take on the challenges of an ever-changing society.

It’s been widely recognized that downtown Salt Lake is one of the best places in the nation to live, work and play. Recently, Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski and representatives from Salt Lake County gathered to officially launch the Cultural Core initiative, THE BLOCKS, Utah’s premiere art, cultural and entertainment districts.
Located within a 40-block neighborhood, THE BLOCKS celebrate vibrant urban experiences for a growing and increasingly diverse group of residents and visitors and showcases the amazing talent and dynamic energy of our creative community in downtown Salt Lake’s Cultural Core.
People can fully embrace the wide diversity of cultural and artistic offerings and create new memories and traditions through the power of art.
From world-class performing arts to our vibrant galleries and rousing concert series to culturally-rich arts and ethnic festivals, museums, markets and amazing facilities, Salt Lake is the hub of Utah’s burgeoning cultural renaissance.
