Key to our success has been the quality of our workforce.

Businesses across Utah are embracing energy efficiency to help them save energy and money and improve their environmental footprint.
Rocky Mountain Power’s wattsmart® Business program helps by providing technical expertise and cash incentives to qualifying commercial, industrial and agricultural customers for upgrading equipment and processes to increase energy efficiency.
The cash incentives available through the “wattsmart Business” program cover part of the cost of the improvements.
In most cases, ongoing cost savings from energy savings alone cover the full cost of the projects in one to eight years, and business customers benefit from lower operating costs year after year.
Your business can save energy and take advantage of wattsmart Business incentives, too.

When it comes to Utah’s bad air – a majority of the air pollution comes from our exhaust pipes, but in the future that won’t be the case.
Our cars and fuels will get cleaner, but the population will continue to grow, and that means our biggest source of air pollution will likely come from area sources – meaning our homes, commercial buildings and businesses.
Salt Lake City has created an initiative designed to dramatically cut energy waste in buildings, while saving businesses and the community money.
The Skyline Challenge is a multi-year competition that encourages building owners across the State to proactively meet – and exceed – air quality and energy-saving targets by evaluating their building’s energy use, setting energy-saving goals and undertaking energy-saving projects.
If you’re a building manager, owner, tenant or business that has taken steps to increase your building’s energy efficiency – Salt Lake City wants to recognize you for your efforts.
Nominations for the Skyline Challenge award are due June 30th.
