Join us November 15th for a full day of informative breakout sessions and inspirational speakers that recognize the accomplishments of those helping make a difference here in our local community.

This year we recognize Lori Chillingworth, chief credit administrator of Zions Bancorporation as the 2016 ATHENA.

In addition to the ATHENA Award we will be recognizing four women who create new paths and promote the development and recognition of women in business with Pathfinder Awards.

This year’s Pathfinders are:

Did you know that nearly 40% of registered voters did not vote in 2012?

People’s excuses pile up; from a recent move to thinking this election just doesn’t matter. But it does.

Jobs are on the ballot this fall and they need your vote.

If you are proud to stand up for free enterprise, then help the American economy have a voice and encourage everyone – including yourself – to vote this fall.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce recently launched voteforjobs.com.

This new website will help you check your voter registration, find early and absentee voting options, locate your Election Day polling place and check out which candidates are on the ballot.

Even if you’re a regular voter, and know all these details cold, you can direct this tool to someone who doesn’t vote often.

Your voice matters. Your neighbor’s voice matters. Everyone’s voice matters. Share voteforjobs.com to help get more people to the polls.

Support our Troops!

Throughout the month of November, the Salt Lake Chamber will be participating in Red Shirt Fridays.

What does that mean?

Well, we want to show support for our servicemen and servicewomen by wearing red every Friday in November.

We encourage you to join us, as we let our servicemen and servicewomen know that we support their sacrifice and that we will not forget them.

Share your pictures on social media using #RedFriday.

Wear red tomorrow to show your support.
