Salt Lake City was recently ranked in the Top 10 Best Cities for Career Opportunities by SmartAsset. Even more astounding is that three of the top four best cities are located in the Beehive State.
The study looked at jobs market data, considering metrics such as growth rate in the number of jobs, early-to-late career wage growth and the number of career and vocational counselors there are in each area.
Recent reports showed Salt Lake City added 29,000 jobs from June 2014 to June 2015, a growth rate of 4.4%. That’s the 11th highest rate of employment growth In the country, meaning new opportunities for residents and transplants.
The other Utah cities that ranked in the Top 10 were Provo and Logan. The researchers said these three cities made “the best region in the country for new career opportunities.”
Our economy and state is consistently ranked in the top ten of the nation and, not surprisingly, this has much to do with the leadership in our business community. To see the full report go to: smartasset.com.
