Salt Lake Chamber president Derek Miller issues statement on the passing of Dan Jones

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (November 2, 2018) – Derek B. Miller, president and CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber, issued the following statement regarding the passing of and Utah pollster Dan Jones.

“The Salt Lake Chamber and Downtown Alliance are saddened by the passing of Dan Jones. Dan was a remarkable man, in Utah’s political arena, and also as an educator, policymaker and influencer who readily shared his wisdom and passion with everyone he met,” said Derek Miller. “Today I lost a mentor and a friend. I could call on him anytime and I left every interaction with increased knowledge and ability to make sound decisions. That so many can say the same thing about Dan speaks to the immeasurable impact of his life. The Salt Lake Chamber and Utah’s business community extend our heartfelt condolences to Dan’s wife Pat and the entire Jones family.”
