Salt Lake City, September 18, 2019
Winmark Stamp & Sign, creators of custom rubber stamps, signage, labels and tags, announced today the acquisition of Quality Stamp & Sign, Salt Lake City, Utah. This acquisition is scheduled to officially take place on September 27th 2019. All business activities starting on October 1st will be conducted under Winmark Incorporated (dba Winmark Stamp & Sign).
This acquisition of Quality Stamp & Sign will provide an edge over the competition. Winmark will be able to save on overhead costs and purchase supplies in volume at lower rates. These savings will be reflected in the services and products offered to our customers. Quality Stamp & Sign prides themselves on timely delivery and customer satisfaction that has helped them build trust among its customers. It is this attention to customer satisfaction and speedy delivery that makes this acquisition beneficial for the Winmark team to expand. It is indeed a win-win situation for both companies.
“It is with great happiness and genuine excitement that we announce the acquisition of Quality Stamp & Sign,” said Brian Szwedko, President and Owner of Winmark Incorporated. “Some of the benefits will be more diverse product offerings including digital printed signage, banners, labels, decals and industrial marking products. I wish the best for Russ Bernard, owner of Quality Stamp & Sign in his retirement. And I am proud to carry on the Quality Stamp & Sign legacy for years to come.”
Winmark Incorporated was established in 1962 under the name Larson Rubber Stamp. In the late 1970’s the business was purchased by the current owner’s grandfather, Earl, and the name was changed to Winmark Incorporated. Because of Earl’s strong industrial marking background the product line was broadened to include more complex marking and identification applications.
The Winmark team has worked hard in keeping current with modern technology, researching top notch products and equipment, and keeping up with the latest market trends. Winmark has been known for our strong work ethic, quality products and fast turnaround times for over 55 years.
With this acquisition Winmark Incorporated has become the largest rubber stamp and sign supplier in the region. This acquisition also provides Winmark with a solid e-commerce presence to assist our customers with online sales. The company has absorbed employees that were working with Quality Stamp & Sign into the fold to be able to provide the same care and attention to detail their customers have come to know and expect.
We at Winmark Stamp & Sign are excited for this new acquisition!
