Our Biggest Crisis. Evidence shows that within any group of workers 10-20% are clinically depressed. COVID-19 has doubled that number.

Presenter Dr. Matthew Thiese, Assistant Professor at the University of Utah’s Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health shared:

  • what has been proven to successfully treat depression
  • why it makes sense for your organization to care, and
  • how you can help yourself and your organization feel better immediately.

Dr. Thiese holds his PhD in epidemiology and has studied many workforces for the past 20 years. He also has been retained by the CDC to lead multiple research projects addressing COVID-19 and related concerns, including mental well-being. His research findings can be found in well respected, peer-reviewed, medical journals.

The Workforce Resilience Through Mental Fitness Webinar: Shining Light on Our Biggest Crisis was held on April 14, 2021.
