The Business Women’s Forum (BWF), a program of the Salt Lake Chamber, helps local businesswomen develop professionally and personally, and provides networking opportunities through a series of bi-monthly luncheons and mixers. Every event has a presentation from an accomplished local speaker, thought-provoking roundtable discussions, and spotlights a non-profit organization. Past topics have included mentorship, communication, leadership, and career development.
Ultimately, the goals of the Business Women’s Forum are to provide the following opportunities to local businesswomen:
In business and life, many women are socialized to give without expecting support in return – or to do it all alone to prove their strength. The Support Exchange flips this narrative.
In this powerful and interactive session, Seantae Jackson – public speaker, nonprofit founder and medical trauma survivor – explores how women can transform their careers and communities through intentional cycles of giving and receiving. Seantae shares her personal story of rebuilding life after a devastating car accident, and how asking for support – not just giving it – led to the creation of a thriving organization, a new public speaking business and a deeply connected network.
Using storytelling, research and real-life applications, this presentation engages women to shift away from burnout culture and toward sustainable, community-driven success. This isn’t just a feel-good session – it’s a strategy session. Attendees will leave with tools to build stronger support ecosystems in their businesses, visibility and long-term resilience. Whether you’re climbing the corporate ladder, running a business or leading a team, The Support Exchange offers a new framework for connection, empowerment, and success.
