Salt Lake City Weekly Presents the 14th Annual Utah Beer Festival at The Gateway

Salt Lake City Weekly presents the 14th annual Utah Beer Festival at The Gateway on August 17-18 from 1-8 p.m. daily. The Utah Beer Festival features over 200 beers and ciders from local, regional and national breweries. The festival will also feature food trucks, merchandise vendors, a special VIP area, and the Utah Beer Festival is proud to announce a partnership with the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.

Advanced ticket prices for the event range from $30 for single-day General Admission, which includes entry and $20 of value for sample pours (10 samples) for attendees, to $90 for VIP tickets and are available for purchase on utahbeerfestival.com. Weekend passes are available for both General Admission and VIP tickets. The VIP experience includes a private serving area, exclusive beers, appetizers, additional food, and a single day ticket admission. Beer sampling includes both low and high point options. All samples are available in 5 ounce pours with draft beer available in 12-ounce pours.

“We’re excited to return to The Gateway for the 14th installment of the Utah Beer Festival,” said Pete Saltas, publisher of City Weekly, the host and sponsor of the festival. “Our 2022 festival was a great success at The Gateway, so we’re excited to be back. We learned Utahns want to come together and enjoy the final days of summer with great food, music and of course, beer. Nearly all of Utah’s fine breweries will be serving their unique, award-winning beers.

The festival will incorporate existing businesses on the property to enhance the attendee experience. The Depot will have shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday that our attendees can enjoy; Flanker Kitchen and Sporting Club is hosting our VIP; Seabird is going to create beer and cocktail specials around the festival’s brewery partners; The Bruce Scottish Pub will have some food specials for attendees; and the Urban Arts Gallery will have an installation on the festival grounds.

“We are thrilled to welcome back the Utah Beer Festival to The Gateway. It’s an ideal location to sample brews with our ample outdoor gathering areas and diverse array of merchants that provide additional offerings to guests, making the festival a well-rounded and more enticing experience,” said Julissa Breslin, The Gateway’s director of marketing.
