Virginia Beach, VA (November 2, 2026) – Chartway Credit Union has earned a Utah Top Workplaces 2026 honor for the sixth consecutive year, recognizing the credit union in one of its three markets across Texas, Utah, and Virginia. The full list is featured in the Salt Lake Business Journal and is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.
“Utah is an important part of Chartway, and we’re proud to be recognized as a Top Workplace there for the sixth year in a row,” said Brian Schools, president and CEO of Chartway Credit Union. “It’s a reflection of our people, our values, and the culture they create every day.”
“What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it reflects the voices of our team members in Utah,” said Jace White, SVP of Talent Engagement at Chartway Credit Union. “Chartway has an incredible team in Utah that cares deeply about our members, the communities we serve, and one other. Creating an environment where people feel supported, can reach their potential, and thrive is central to who we are.”
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
In addition to the 2026 Utah Top Workplaces Award, Chartway earned a sixth consecutive USA Today Top Workplaces Award this year. Chartway also received 2026 Top Workplaces Culture Excellence and Industry Awards in eight categories: Innovation (2022-2026), Work-Life Flexibility (2026), Leadership (2026), Purpose & Values (2026), Professional Development (2023-2026), Employee Well-Being (2023-2026), Employee Appreciation (2023-2026), and Financial Services (2021-2026). In August 2026, Chartway was named a Hampton Roads Virginia Top Workplace by Inside Business for the eighth year in a row.
