PROVO, Utah — Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) and Unitek Learning have announced a new partnership designed to expand access to graduate nursing education and strengthen the healthcare workforce.
Through the articulation agreement, graduates of Unitek Learning institutions (including Eagle Gate College, Unitek College of Nursing, Provo College, and Brookline College) will have a streamlined pathway to pursue RMU’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and graduate nursing certificate programs. Eligible graduates will receive a tuition discount when they enroll at RMU.
As healthcare systems across the country continue to face growing demand for highly educated nursing professionals, the partnership removes barriers for working nurses seeking advanced credentials while helping prepare the next generation of healthcare leaders.
“By collaborating with Unitek Learning, we’re making graduate education more accessible and helping develop the highly skilled nursing workforce our communities need,” said Dr. Malissa Martin, executive vice president of academic affairs and provost for RMU. “Together, we’re creating pathways that help nurses advance their careers while improving patient care.”
For Unitek Learning, the partnership represents another step in supporting students beyond graduation by providing opportunities for continued professional growth.
“We are proud to partner with Rocky Mountain University through a new articulation agreement that creates a seamless pathway for our nursing graduates to pursue advanced graduate nursing degrees,” said Dr. Abdel Yosef, Provost and Chief Academic Officer for Unitek Learning. “This collaboration expands educational opportunities, supports lifelong learning, and reinforces our shared commitment to developing the next generation of highly qualified nursing leaders.”
The partnership reflects both institutions’ shared commitment to expanding educational opportunities and preparing healthcare professionals to meet the growing needs of patients and communities across the country.
