Speaking on Business: Clyde Companies

This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. For the past 100 years, Clyde Companies has continued the legacy of partnering with the communities they serve. Here to talk more about their ongoing involvement throughout Utah is Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Ally Isom.

Ally Isom:

At Clyde Companies, we are “Building a Better Community.” That’s our mission. Our eight home-grown subsidiaries include W.W. Clyde, Geneva Rock, Suncore, Sunpro, Clyde Capital Group, Bridgesource, Beehive Insurance and newly announced Homebuilt.

This year Clyde Companies celebrates one hundred years of being a family-owned and privately-held enterprise, built on the simple promise that our word is our bond. We started as a Springville construction company in 1926, and have grown into a powerhouse of over six thousand team members — all builders at heart — and all driven by integrity and grit to build something special.

Whether we construct vital infrastructure, provide critical building materials, solve supply chain challenges or simply clean up a local roadway with our donated sweeper truck named Miles, we build a better community.

Clyde Companies is unquestionably energized for our next chapter of growth. But even more, we cannot wait to build better communities across the Intermountain West for another hundred years.

Derek Miller:

Clyde Companies continually strengthens our region through being a dedicated community partner and leader. To learn more about their work and community involvement, visit ClydeInc.com. I’m Derek Miller, with the Salt Lake Chamber, Speaking on Business.
