This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. Ronald McDonald House Mountain West helps families by handling the everyday challenges that come with a child needing medical care. By easing stress and removing barriers, they let parents focus on what really matters — their child’s recovery. CEO, Carrie Romano, joins us with more.
Carrie Romano:
Ronald McDonald House Mountain West keeps families close when a child is seriously ill or injured. We provide a free home near and within hospitals so parents can focus on their child instead of worrying about where they’ll sleep, eat or take care of day-to-day needs during such a stressful time.
This work only happens because of the support of our incredible community. Donors make it possible, and volunteers bring it to life every single day. Together, we turn generosity into meaningful, direct support for families at their most vulnerable moments, helping them to focus on what matters most — the health and the recovery of their child.
Since 1988, we’ve proudly served families across the Mountain West. And the need in Utah continues to grow, with more pediatric patients than ever before. We’re committed to meeting that need, and your support makes all the difference.
