Speaking on Business: Staker Parson Materials & Construction

This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. As Staker Parson Materials and Construction approaches its 75th anniversary, the company continues building the roads, infrastructure and foundations that keep Utah moving and growing. Their work helps connect communities and support the state’s future. CEO, Scott Parson, joins us with more.

Scott Parson:

Since my grandfather founded Staker Parson Materials & Construction in 1952, we’ve had the privilege of helping build projects that connect Utah and support its growth and prosperity. We strive to be the preferred source and this commitment was recently recognized when we received the Utah Best of State Award for the 23rd consecutive year.

The recently completed Mountain View Corridor project also earned a national Partnering Award, recognizing a culture of collaboration and teamwork resulting in the project finishing months ahead of schedule.

From homes to highways, schools to stadiums, hospitals to hotels, temples to terminals and factories to fulfillment centers — Staker Parson has contributed to many of Utah’s most significant projects. As we approach our 75th anniversary, we are grateful for our customers, the communities where we live and work and the dedicated employees who have helped make our growth and success possible.

We are optimistic about the future and look forward to continuing to help build Utah’s future.
