This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. The Museum of Utah is Utah’s first dedicated state history museum, with roughly 17,000 square feet of exhibition space. These exhibits invite visitors to explore Utah’s past, present and future. Museum Director, Tim Glenn, joins us with more.

Located inside the new North Capitol Building on the Capitol Complex, the Museum of Utah is free and open seven days a week. As an extension of the Utah Historical Society, we bring Utah’s history, culture and art to life through world-class exhibits and programming.
Explore four permanent galleries: Becoming Utah, Connecting Utah, Building Utah and Inspiring Utah, featuring more than 900 artifacts and works of art preserved for future generations. The museum reflects the experiences of all Utahns, and we hope visitors see themselves in the space and stories we share.
