Utah Symphony | Utah Opera is one of Utah’s greatest cultural treasures and the talent on our stage is among the most elite in the world. We all know how rare it is for athletes to make a professional sports team — only one percent earn that honor.
But consider this: just one-tenth of one percent of musicians ever win a position with a major orchestra like ours. We’re one of the nation’s preeminent orchestras and top regional opera companies, presenting nearly 400 performances and education events each year to approximately 400,000 people across the state of Utah.
Our home venues are in Salt Lake and Park City — but as Utah’s cultural ambassador, we travel to schools, outdoor stages and community gathering places throughout the state. We’re a service organization and our service is through live music — as educators, entertainers, community partners and conveners.
Our mission, in all that we do, is to connect our community through great live music.
