The Wasatch Front Regional Council builds consensus and improves quality of life by bringing communities together to plan for better transportation, livable communities, a strong economy and a healthy environment. Executive Director, Andrew Gruber, joins us with more.

Wasatch Front Regional Council brings government, business, and community leaders together from across our region to plan for the future. Utah has a great quality of life, so Utah families want to stay here, and others want to join us.
This growth creates opportunities, but also challenges. We need to plan ahead if we’re going to maintain and even enhance quality of life for Utahns.
Community leaders from across the region have collaborated to develop the Wasatch Choice Vision, a blueprint for the future that addresses transportation and housing, open space and economic opportunities.
The Vision plans for all of these elements together, so the location of housing, jobs and educational opportunities is coordinated with where we put roads, transit lines and trails. Working together to implement the Wasatch Choice Vision will help us keep a high quality of life, now and for future generations.
