Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah selected Kim Frost as its new public affairs and government relations director. In this position, Frost will maintain strong relationships with Utah legislators and state officials while serving as Regence’s subject matter expert on state and federal policy. Additionally, she will keep industry regulators informed on key health care issues and policies that may impact health plan members, employers and Utahns statewide.

American Red Cross urges Utahns to learn CPR in honor of National CPR & AED Awareness Week
The American Red Cross of Utah is recognizing the 17th anniversary of National CPR and AED Awareness Week, June 1-7, by encouraging Utahns to have at least one person in their household trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or Hands-Only CPR (chest compressions without rescue breathing), along with the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), crucial for restarting the heart. These skills can significantly increase survival rates during cardiac emergencies.
