I love dragonflies. Watching them dance in the evening or sparkle in the sun is magic.
Dragonflies are pure inspiration. They don’t just climb into a chrysalis then emerge a little later, fully formed. These beauties molt, and molt, and molt again, over and over until they’ve reached their best stage. They move from eggs to larva to nymph to teneral. Adults who have reached Emergence still aren’t done. Their first adult flight will be shaky, and cover just a few yards. Their colors are pale and weak.
