The Gateway Expands its Dynamic Offerings with New Merchant Openings This Fall

The Gateway continues to expand its offerings to Salt Lake City residents and visitors by welcoming exciting, new businesses. Opening this fall is Asher Adams, an Autograph Collection hotel that features a stunning historic renovation of the 1908 Union Pacific Depot. Retailer Women Owned Small Business Collective has relocated to a different space within The Gateway at 152 S. Rio Grande Street. The Nerd Store is a shop to geek out on comic books, games, and collectibles. Two years after its departure from The Gateway, Dreamscapes is returning to its original home in a new space at 16 N. Rio Grande Street.

World Trade Center Utah Awarded $525,000 SBA Grant to Boost Small Business Export Growth

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has awarded the state of Utah $525,000 through its State Trade Expansion Program (STEP). World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah), in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO), will administer the grant to help boost the state’s export economy by empowering businesses to reach new international markets.
