Previously, at the Department of Workforce Services, she became dedicated to dissolving intergenerational poverty in Utah.

She currently is the Branch Manager at Spherion, where she leverages her interpersonal skills and innovative thinking to cultivate strategic partnerships and create cutting-edge staffing solutions. Makaila is driven by her deep-seated commitment to employee advocacy, equity, positive company cultures, upward mobility, and eliminating barriers to workforce entry.

A Conversation with Sally Dietlein, Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Hale Centre Theatre

Sally Dietlein is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Hale Centre Theatre. In addition to being a featured actress, her broad-based expertise includes the direction of many comedies and musicals. Sally has also written six full-scale musicals, all of which have been produced at Hale Centre Theatre as well as other theaters throughout the country. Under her artistic direction, HCT has become one of the highest attended regional theaters in the nation with almost 600,000 patrons annually.

A Conversation With Kathy Roberts, CEO of Switch Reward Card

Kathy Roberts is the CEO of Switch Reward Card. She was a pioneer in the consumer credit card industry with Discover Card and served as President and Chief Operations Officer of Discover Bank from 2000 to 2006. Ms. Roberts now applies those same skills and work ethic to the emerging digital currency market. She also proudly serves on the Board of Directors of many companies such as Galvan, the blockchain healthcare company.
