DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (Jan. 20, 2026) – Deer Valley Resort welcomes spring skiers to the slopes for Shred For Red — an annual fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness and advancing Blood Cancer United’s® (formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. On-mountain challenges and activities will take place at Deer Valley on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Shred For Red is a fun, family-friendly day on the mountain where passionate supporters — including Olympic and Paralympic athletes — come together to honor and support blood cancer patients, raise critical funds, and enjoy one of the country’s most iconic ski destinations.
“In its eighth year at Deer Valley, we are proud to host the family-friendly Shred For Red fundraiser in partnership with Blood Cancer United®,” said Deer Valley Resort President & Chief Operating Officer Todd Bennett. “We are grateful to our guests who come out and support this great cause each year, and we look forward to sharing a fun day on the slopes together to show our support for patients and families impacted by blood cancer.”
Traditionally held in early December, this year marks the first time Shred For Red will be held in the spring, giving Deer Valley’s March visitors the opportunity to participate in the beloved event. To be eligible to participate, adults must raise a minimum of $1,000 ($300 for children under 12). Participants will receive and have access to the following:
- Full-day ski lift ticket to Deer Valley Resort on March 28, 2026
- On-mountain scavenger hunt and downhill racecourse
- Opportunity to ski alongside Olympians and Paralympians
- Après-ski reception at Deer Valley’s Snow Park Lodge
All proceeds will benefit Blood Cancer United’s efforts to honor and support blood cancer patients and raise critical funds for their mission.
