SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (October 1, 2026) – Derek Miller, president and CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber, issued the following statement regarding the passing of Keith B. McMullin:
“Today we lost a true leader in our community. Keith McMullin will forever be remembered for his kindness, wisdom and integrity. His contributions touched our community in ways we may never fully know, but at the heart of everything he did was a genuine care for people.
“Keith was a trusted counselor to the Chamber and a mentor to me. His thoughtful leadership, sound judgment and steady guidance helped shape our organization into what it is today. We will forever be grateful for his extraordinary service to the Chamber, our community and our state. His impact will be felt for generations to come.”
McMullin chaired the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors from 2016-2017 and was the former CEO and president of Deseret Management Corporation.
He died on September 30, 2026, at the age of 85.
