We need solutions now. First, cities must embrace sustainable growth and support the Governor’s call for 35,000 starter homes. Second, builders like Ivory Homes must aggressively buy down interest rates to help buyers qualify. We are doing just that, with rates in the 5s, 4s, and even as low as 3.49 percent.
Finally, parents and grandparents who can, need to help the next generation with down payments.
