Utah Valley University (UVU) is teaming up with Fidelity to help Utahns race toward a brighter financial future — literally. On Saturday, April 12, at 8:30 a.m., UVU’s Woodbury School of Business will host the “4.01K Race to Retirement,” a short, family-friendly race designed to spotlight the importance of retirement planning and financial wellness.
Why 401K? It is a playful nod to 401(k) retirement savings plans — reinforcing the message that it is never too early (or too fun!) to start saving for the future. The event is open to the public free of charge and includes music, snacks, a kids 401m fun run, the 4.01K race, and free financial planning resources.
It will be hosted by UVU’s Personal Financial Planning Program, and it is sponsored by Fidelity Investments.
