Jeremy Hafen, Clyde Companies CEO, Appointed to Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Salt Lake City Branch Board of Directors

Jeremy Hafen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Clyde Companies, has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Salt Lake City Branch Board of Directors

“I am grateful for the unique opportunity to provide private sector input and work to maintain a strong national economy,” said Hafen. “At Clyde Companies, we believe deeply in our mission to build better communities. This role is a meaningful way to give back.”

The Federal Reserve is divided into twelve regions and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco oversees the 12th Federal Reserve District. Members of the Salt Lake City Branch Board serve as liaisons between local communities and the federal government. As local business and community leaders, these board members provide regional perspectives and advice on economic conditions, which help shape the Federal Reserve’s actions in their district.

Board members are selected based on their deep understanding of finance, economics and business operations. Hafen began his career with Clyde Companies in 2004. Earlier, he spent several years with Deloitte as a Senior Tax Consultant. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Master of Accountancy degree in tax, accompanied by a Minor in Information Systems Management. He also holds an emeritus CPA license in the State of Utah.
