On November 5, 2021, OSHA issued the COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) for companies with over 100 employees. This rule requires businesses to develop a written COVID-19 policy, including setting up an assessment process for their employees, creating guidelines on receiving proof of vaccination, and establishing a record-keeping system containing this information. Additionally, one key factor of the policy is that it will require that employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or submit to weekly testing.

While the ETS is in flux, experts recommend businesses still prepare for its implementation. As such, many businesses are left wondering where to begin and what to do to comply.
