Business Women’s Forum

The Business Women’s Forum (BWF), a program of the Salt Lake Chamber, helps local businesswomen develop professionally and personally, and provides networking opportunities through a series of bi-monthly luncheons and mixers. Every event has a presentation from an accomplished local speaker, thought-provoking roundtable discussions, and spotlights a non-profit organization. Past topics have included mentorship, communication, leadership, and career development.

Ultimately, the goals of the Business Women’s Forum are to provide the following opportunities to local businesswomen:

  • Create authentic networking connections.
  • Learn about the community and share how we can influence positive change.
  • Develop professional and personal skills.
  • Recognize each other for accomplishments.

Business Women’s Forum | Beyond the Profile: Making LinkedIn Work for You

With more than 1 billion users worldwide, LinkedIn is the leading platform for digital networking, which is why entrepreneurs, professionals, and job seekers should be taking advantage of it.

Harnessing LinkedIn is instrumental for building a personal brand, expanding professional networks, securing new opportunities, and generating business, yet many are unfamiliar with how to get the most out of this tool, especially with the platform’s recent algorithmic updates.

In this program, you’ll learn best practices for navigating LinkedIn, including:
  • Building a profile that draws people in and reflects your expertise
  • Creating content that resonates with your audience, while working with the algorithm
  • Raising your profile on a broader scale
  • Nurturing relationships that last
