For over 40 years, the ATHENA Leadership Award has recognized outstanding women who demonstrate professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional goals and leadership skills; each of which is something that Dr. Milavetz has dedicated her life to.

Her work demonstrates ambition not only in personal achievements but also in her goal to create systems that empower and uplift others.
