Speaking on Business: R1 Utah Real Estate

This is Derek Miller Speaking on Business. Utah’s housing market set sales records in 2020, but while the number of homes sold dropped slightly in 2021, the price of homes was at an all-time high. Rachel Murphy, with R1 Utah Real Estate, provides insight about her firm and its future.

Yes, we are very excited for the 2022 market. Salt Lake City is expected to be number one in 2022 with increases in value around 10 to 12 percent. It’s definitely a great time to be selling.

My company, R1 Company, started in New Mexico about eight years ago and now has over 1,000 agents just in New Mexico, and is in an additional 15 states and counting. Utah is being one of the newest editions. Since its founding in 2004, R1 has sold over five billion dollars in property.

R1 is actively engaged in community charities. In fact, we will be hosting a golf scholarship event in August. I would be happy to share any details with anyone interested.

R1 was founded by agents for agents. We give more to our team so they can give more to the clients they serve — no hidden monthly fees. For homeowners and sellers, you get unparalleled professionals helping you every step of the way.

Realtor.com recently forecast that Salt Lake City’s median sales prices will likely increase by more than eight percent this year. Helping buyers and sellers come together in ways that work for everyone is a high priority at R1 Utah Real Estate. I’m Derek Miller with the Salt Lake Chamber, Speaking on Business.
