A contemporary winter wonderland to feature vibrant lights, live entertainment, and woodland creatures.
The Gateway will kick off downtown Salt Lake City’s holiday season during its annual Lights On! event on Saturday, November 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The downtown destination will flip on vibrant, contemporary lights while crowds enjoy a festive atmosphere and ample photo ops with woodland animals, other engaging displays, and a balloon twister for kids. The return of the downtown winter wonderland will feature live music by Tavernacle’s Social Club Dueling Pianos, as well as food, seasonal cocktails, and hot chocolate by Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club. Guests are encouraged to enter to win prizes. The Gateway will also unveil the new, seasonal Art Shop Project Windows by local artists inspired by the theme “All That Sparkles.”
“We are excited to continue this family-friendly tradition for the community that always draws a big, enthusiastic crowd,” says Julissa Breslin, The Gateway’s director of marketing. “We and our merchants welcome everyone to kick off the holiday season and get in the spirit with us.”
Holiday lights and installations will be on display through December 31.
