The Utah Clean Air Partnership (UCAIR) offers grants to fund innovative projects and programs across the state that aim to improve Utah’s air quality through reductions in emissions. UCAIR is currently requesting applications for any of the following areas:
- Reduction of emissions from area sources, which are defined as smaller, stationary sources of air pollution that contribute to both wintertime inversion and summertime ozone seasons.
- Targeting summertime precursor emissions, such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), that particularly contribute to ozone pollution in the summer months.
- Implementation of emerging technologies to achieve measurable emissions reductions.
- Reduction of emissions in underserved areas.
Eligible applicants include private, public, and nonprofit organizations. Letters of Intent are due by Friday, August 4, 2023. Learn more and apply at https://www.ucair.org/ grants. If you have questions or if you would like to discuss a potential proposal, please email grants@ucair.org.
