Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Across Utah with Education, Support, and Community.
The Utah Microloan Fund (UMLF) is proud to announce the upcoming Spring 2025 cohort for its highly acclaimed Banking on Women Entrepreneurship Program. Made possible by Synchrony Bank, this 15 week program has empowered hundreds of women across Utah to grow and thrive in their small businesses since its launch in 2010.
Designed specifically to address the unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, the program provides a comprehensive curriculum necessary to running a successful business developed by Westminster University. It is offered both in-person and virtually to ensure that women across Utah, including those in rural areas, can participate and benefit.

Why Apply?
- Tailored for Women Entrepreneurs: This program is designed to address the specific
challenges and opportunities faced by women in business. - Comprehensive Learning Experience: Each class offers expert guidance from
Westminster University and provides the opportunity to work on your business rather than
just in it. - Scholarships Available: Thanks to Synchrony Bank, the program is offered via
scholarship, making it accessible to women across Utah. - In-Person and Virtual Options: The program offers flexibility, allowing participants to
choose either in-person or virtual attendance.
Program Details:
- Rural Virtual Cohort:
- Wednesdays, 6pm – 9pm
- Held virtually on Zoom for participants in rural counties of Utah
- Runs from January 22, 2025, to April 22, 2025.
- In-Person Salt Lake City Cohort:
- Tuesdays, 6pm – 9pm
- Held at Westminster University for those in Salt Lake and surrounding counties.
- Runs from January 21, 2025, to April 29, 2025.
Applications are due by October 31, 2024, at midnight. The Spring cohort begins the third
week of January 2025. This is an incredible opportunity to join a supportive community of like-
minded women and grow your small business.
