137 years ago today — on April 23rd, 1887 — leaders in a community not yet known as Utah came together with a common goal: to create foundations for future economic development and success.
Today, the Salt Lake Chamber stands as a testament to that same vision, embodying a legacy of progress, collaboration and advocacy that continues to shape Utah’s business landscape. Diverse-Owned Business Accelerator Celebrates 18 New Graduates from Spring 2024 Cohort
On March 28, 2024, the Salt Lake Chamber and the Women’s Business Center of Utah celebrated the graduation of the latest Diverse-Owned Business Accelerator cohort. Eighteen business owners, the highest number of graduates in a cohort yet, completed the program to enhance their entrepreneurship skills and receive one-on-one business coaching.

As Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMU) continues to lead innovation and excellence in health education and practice, it has announced the appointment of Michael Nelson, DHSc, DMSc, MPAs, PA-C to the RMU Board of Trustees. A visionary in healthcare, Nelson’s career has included serving as the Program Director of the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program and the Dean of the College of Medical Science at RMU.
